3rd Great Grandfather. Lived on the Hardware River, near Jumping Hill, Albemarle County.
His will was filed in Albemarle in 1817. It was also filed in 1824, in Madison County, Alabama, as many descendents were living there. Owned 664 acres of land, 14 slaves, 15 cows and 5 horses in 1782. Had been given at least part of this land by his father before his father's death since he received no land from the estate.(Hamner Heritage, pg 12)
